There are several steps to designing your new backyard pool project. First we need to help you choose what style of pool you want, there are pictures on this website to give you some ideas, but you can also look at books and other pictures on the internet, as well as looking at pools in your area. The pools we build are custom, which doesn't necessarily mean expensive, it means we can fit your pool to your needs, and leave out features you don't want and add features you do want. This also makes pricing the pool a bit of a challenge, since there is not a set pool package to price. Here are some things we will need to help you make your choice:
1. What size and style of pool do you want?
2. Bring or send us a copy of a plot plan for your property
3. We will need to know where any underground utilities are in your yard. We can help you with this, or call for a locate, but any knowledge you have will help.
4. Do you have a budget in mind? A pool is a fairly expensive addition to your home and definitely not a place to skimp on money! In 1973, when we started, the price of a new pool was about the same as a new Cadillac, and guess what........It still is! The only problem is, if you make a bad decision with your new car, you can sell it, or trade it off for something you like better. You will have your new pool for many more years than a car, let's do it right the first time!
